Residents asked to use caution during construction at Water Pollution Control Center

Brush pile to remain open during expansion project

TIFFIN, OHIO – March 9, 2020 – With construction starting last week for the 14-month Water Pollution Control Center expansion project, Plant Superintendent Kevin Hughes is asking that residents use caution when entering the plant.

As work is mostly being done on the north end of the plant, vehicles are to be entering and exiting from the north gate. People using the WPCC to drop off brush, leaves or to get mulch are asked to continue using the east gate for the safety of the construction workers and residents.

The WPCC, 961 N. Water St., is open 7 a.m.-2:30 p.m. seven days a week, and leaves and brush are accepted between those hours every day. For more information, call (419) 448-5440.
