TIFFIN, Ohio – April 14, 2022 – The Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission (TMAC) and the City of Tiffin have opened the second round of submissions for original art to be used as vinyl wraps on traffic signal boxes at intersections throughout the community. This is the second of three phases of the contest, the first round of which closed at the end of March with 19 submissions.

All completed applications and artwork submissions are due by 5 p.m. July 8, 2022.

Vinyl wraps will be adhered to traffic signal boxes at intersections throughout the community.

With the second round, the contest has been opened up to include artists within 30 miles of Tiffin.

Each winning artist will receive a $100 stipend for the artwork that will be payable when the Artist Release Form is submitted and approved by the City of Tiffin. In addition, the winning artists will receive a certificate of recognition for their winning artwork and will be featured in the City of Tiffin’s communication mediums.

All proposals will be screened for the completeness of the submission. Finalists for the competition will be selected by the Traffic Signal Box Art Selection Committee based on a review of creativity, adherence to the theme, and artistic merit.
