Weekly pick-up program goes through Nov. 22

TIFFIN, Ohio – Oct. 24, 2024 – The City of Tiffin will begin its annual curbside leaf collection beginning Monday, Oct. 28. This program is expected to last through Friday, November 22, 2024.

LEAVES MUST BE PLACED AT THE CURB BY 7 A.M. according to the below schedule. Public Works personnel will only pick up leaves contained in clear City leaf bags, available at participating local vendors (see below).

The weekly schedule for pickup is broken down by quadrants:
• Monday – East of Washington St and north of Market St (northeast quadrant)
• Tuesday – West of Washington St and north of Market St (northwest quadrant)
• Wednesday – West of Washington St and south of Market St (southwest quadrant)
• Thursday – East of Washington St and south of Market St (southeast quadrant)

Tiffin asks residents to help our Public Works team members by avoiding excessively heavy bags and non-leaf material.

Residents who wish to work on their own timeline may consider using a mower to mulch their leaves, or may drop off loose leaves on their own (no bags required) to the Water Pollution Control Center, 961 N Water St, 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
