The City of Tiffin and Tiffin Parks and Recreation will have a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new inclusive playground at Hedges-Boyer Park at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29 (please note, this date has changed). The public is invited to celebration the completion of this project!
The City of Tiffin’s new inclusive playground at Hedges-Boyer Park replaces aging equipment and improves the recreation opportunities for families visiting and living in Tiffin and Seneca County. As well as two new playsets, equipment includes new swings, a zip line, jungle gym, shaded benches and tables and more.
Inclusive play systems are designed to allow all people to participate in play, regardless of age or ability, and to prove that play has no limit. This project was made possible through funds granted to the City of Tiffin through the American Recovery Plan Act and through other local grant programs.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony is being organized with the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club.
