TIFFIN, Ohio – April 7, 2022 – Starting Monday, April 11, portions of Sycamore Street and South Monroe Street near Columbian High School are to be closed for sewer repair work. The work is to coincide with Tiffin City School’s spring break to minimize the impact on traffic in the area.
City of Tiffin Public Works crews will be in the area April 11 through Thursday, April 14, performing sewer work. Sycamore Street from South Monroe Street to South Washington Street and South Monroe Street from Sycamore Street to Circular Street will be completely closed to through traffic. Additionally, Sycamore Street from South Monroe Street to Circular Street will be closed to Northbound traffic. The roads will be accessible to local traffic, but the intersection of Monroe and Sycamore may be completely blocked off during that time.
Drivers are asked to find alternative routes for the safety of workers.
