The City of Tiffin Parks and Recreation department has announced the return of more favorite summer activities! The Oakley Park Clean-up, Thursday Night Tunes, and the Youth Fishing Derby will all return for summer 2024.
The Oakley Park Clean-up will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 20 at Oakley Park, 175 Grand Avenue, in Tiffin. If you have them available, participants are asked to bring rakes, work gloves, and friends! Lunch will be provided.
Thursday Night Tunes will take place every Thursday evening at 7 p.m. from June 20 to August 15 (aside from Thursday, July 4). Local musicians from varying genres will take the stage at the Tiffin East Green Amphitheater to showcase their talents and bring an engaging soundscape to Downtown Tiffin. The series will finish with the fan favorite Band Bash that features marching bands from all over Seneca County.

Registration for the Youth Fishing Derby will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 1 at The Tiffin-Seneca Izaak Walton League at 3570 N. County Rd 33 in Tiffin. Online registration is open now here. The event is free for children 17 and under, and lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. with door prizes to follow at 12 noon.
Spots are still available for select Parks and Recreation Summer Camps. To view availability, click here. Spots are filled on a first come first serve basis online. Camps with full classes will have a waiting list, however, spots are not guaranteed to open.
