The Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission is partnering with the Seneca County Suicide Prevention Coalition to shed light on mental health concerns and offer support in the community through interactive selfie installations created by local artists.
There are 10 selfie stations available for design. Each station will host a distinctive wing theme such as angel, dragon, or butterfly. Interested artists are encouraged to apply by submitting their credentials and proposals for wings that can be painted, digitally printed, or mounted here. Dimensions of the final installations will be approximately 8 feet tall by 8 feet wide.
Selected artists will receive $500 upon developing and implementing their design. Those interested are invited to submit a rough concept, through words or visual measures, to be refined in collaboration with TMAC and property owners at each available location.
The deadline for applications is June 10th, 2024, at midnight. Selected artists will be notified on June 11th, 2024. Final artwork or concept art (for painting purposes) must be completed by July 9th, 2024, to allow for fabrication and painting before September 15th.
