The shelters have 8-10 tables and accommodate approximately 50-70 people. The Lion’s shelter is the smallest with six tables and accommodates approximately 40-50 people.

Pool restrooms are open mid-April thru Mid-October depending on weather and are handicap accessible. Porta pots are located near the barn (handicap accessible), in the upper park by the American Legion parking lot, by the tennis courts, and in the lower park near the football field.

All shelters have grills. The American Legion and Moose shelters have built in fireplaces in addition to grills.

The City of Tiffin Park & Recreation Department maintains 14 picnic shelters at different locations. There are shelters at the following parks: Applejack (small shelter), Hedges-Boyer, Highland, Junior Home, Nature Trails (small shelter), Oakley, and Riverview (small shelter). Shelters are available on a first-come, first-use basis with the exception being the shelters and barn at Hedges-Boyer Park.
