A Legacy Tree, to honor a deceased loved one or a special event, may be purchased from the City of Tiffin. The Legacy Tree will then be planted by the City in a special area, and the name of the person or event to be honored will be placed on a memorial plaque on the Legacy Tree sign in Hedges Boyer Park.
The process of purchasing the Legacy Tree is as follows: Fill out the following request form and pay the city a flat fee of $250 which covers the purchase, planting, and maintenance of the tree as well as the cost of the memorial plaque. Give or mail to: Parks & Recreation Department, 621 E. Market St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883. Make your check payable to the City of Tiffin and write in the memo line: Living Legacy Tree Memorial this will ensure that it goes to the right memorial fund.
