Sutton Bank Charitable Fund of Tiffin Community Foundation Rink at Oakley Park opening in late fall

TIFFIN, Ohio – Aug. 22, 2024 – Today, Tiffin Mayor Lee W. Wilkinson announced that the City of Tiffin will be adding an “iceless” skating rink at Oakley Park, set to open to the public Dec. 8, 2024. The grand opening will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 p.m. with open skating to follow. This initiative represents a dynamic public/private partnership between the City of Tiffin, the Tiffin Parks and Recreation Department and Operation Hallmark Inc.

TIFFIN, Ohio – June 9, 2023 – The City of Tiffin is proud to announce its annual 4th of July Celebration will take place Tuesday, July 4th at Hedges-Boyer Park, 491 Coe St, Tiffin, OH 44883. Many activities are planned for the day, including the second annual Cruisin’ Thru the Years car show, inflatables, food trucks, fireworks and more.

All Ohio artists showcased for Summer 2023

Information via the Frost Kalnow Amphitheater

The East Green Summer Concert Series announces its 2023 lineup, performers for six concerts presented every other Saturday evening at the Frost Kalnow Amphitheater in downtown Tiffin. The 2023 season has “The Soul of Ohio” as its theme and features exclusively Ohio artists who are making an impact locally, regionally, and nationally. Concerts are free and open to the public, and begin at 8:00 p.m.

Tiffin Parks and Rec. has opened registration for their 2023 Sand Volleyball Leagues. All players must be 18 years of age or older. League play will begin the first full week of June, with the nights of play as follows:

Women's League-Tuesday Nights

Coed. Rec. 1-Wednesday Nights

Coed Rec. 2-Thursday Nights

All teams must be registered with their $100 team fee paid, prior to Monday, May 22, 2023, in order to be eligible for this season.

Registration for camps opens in April

TIFFIN, Ohio – March 22, 2023 – Get ready for another fun-filled summer with the Tiffin Parks and Recreation Department! Pool and shelter reservations are open now and sign-ups for day camps will start at 9 a.m. April 5.

Last year, the department partnered with SportsMan Parks and Recreation Software to provide registration services for parks programs and facility rentals. The site is live now for shelter rentals and pool passes by visiting https://tiffinparks.activityreg.com.

The City of Tiffin and Tiffin Parks and Recreation will have a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new inclusive playground at Hedges-Boyer Park at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 29 (please note, this date has changed). The public is invited to celebration the completion of this project!

As the summer comes to an end, the Tiffin Parks and Recreation Department is planning still more events in the coming weeks before the weather turns.

The City of Tiffin pool is open daily until Aug. 14. After the pool closes, the pool will be open 6-8 p.m. Aug. 16 and 17 for the annual Dawg Dayz Dive In, giving pet owners a chance to let their dogs enjoy a cool off in the pool. Admission is $5, which helps fund the Tiffin Bark Park.
